Dr. Florentina IIMURO

Dentist

Dr. IIMURO was born in Brazil where she lived till graduation from USP(University of Sao Paulo). Then she went to Japan, her parents' home country, to study dentistry more with help of the Monbusho (Japanese Ministry of Education) scholarship, got PhD in Tokyo Medical and Dental University. She went to South Korea with her husband who is Korean. Studied Implantology in Seoul National University as a post doc researcher and got dental license in South Korea. Since her graduation from USP, she has been working in Brazil, Japan and South Korea for many years.

Started to practice in Canada since 2015. After a year of experiencing in POHS in Surrey, she began practicing here in Maple Ridge Dental Centre with help of Dr. Marandi, who has helped her a lot to take it over smoothly.

Dr. IIMURO has been attending continuing education courses in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics and Orthodontics etc to keep up with up-to-date dental skills.

She speaks Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and English. She has been living here in Maple Ridge since 2011. She enjoys life of Maple Ridge. She likes to travel, cook and read.
